Milan is my city and I like to walk there with my beloved M6 and a Portra 400 roll inside...
Walk with a camera is street photography? I really don't know, maybe it is just making something you like to do and make you happy. I feel really good when I walk through my city taking candid shots. And it is enough for me. It is fantastic take your time to take pictures and it is good take time for waiting the rolls are developed, also because I send them to Portugal to one of the best manual color developer in Europe. Time must be slow in chemical photography and it drives you to the past when probably emotions were more true. Color chemical photography (I don't use the term "analog" because photography with film is based on the AgCl oxide-reduction made by light and it is not linked with analog electric waves) represents my way to calm me. I love waiting long time before I see the final image as a Easter egg and I love the color chemical aesthetic that it is like a warm vinyl disc in music.
You know, they are emotions! Or maybe I'm starting to be old. I was born in 1971, last century...
